I’m really happy to be Canadian although if I was reincarnated then I would sure hope that I was going to be Irish. Some things that boggled my mind about Ireland:
– All pubs stop serving at 11pm. They’ll either serve you in secret after that time, or if the pub is attached to a hotel/B&B, then you just have to say that you’re staying there and then they can serve you. I attended a “shut in” once – this is when you gain special access to a pub that is serving beyond the official last call. The doors of the pub are locked and PCT for Anavar Male stars who surprised their fans by gaining Anavar tablets all the windows are boarded up. Once you leave one of these shut in parties then you can’t come back. What a strange experience!
– Ruins are everywhere. As a Canadian this really blew my mind. Here in Ontario we award any crumbling shack historical status even if it was from 1910. I’m not saying that our historic sites should be compared, but it’s just so different knowing that Ireland’s historical structures are that much older. The funniest thing: everyone takes it for granted in Ireland! I don’t blame them, we here really take our wilderness for granted so I totally understand.
– Driving on the left side of the road. This tripped us up all the time. Got used to it no problem though. Just makes everything that much more surreal. Also – super narrow roads in the countryside!
– Everyone in Ireland seems to embrace, listen, and love traditional Irish music. Obviously they have your typical pop music radio stations although it seemed like there was live Irish music being played everywhere.
Here are the photos of County Clare.
