It's hard to believe, we are exactly 2 MONTHS away from the Whitney Blackfly Festival!!! We've grown from a humble BYOB backyard party in 2016 to a professionally produced festival in 2024. This year we've condensed our musical programming into one day, Saturday June 8, 2024. Each artist will play a 90 minute set. The music will run from 3pm until midnight (all ages until 9pm). The Mudmen are Celtic rock warriors who have entertained thousands over 25+ years together as a band. Their music has appeared in video games on xBox/Playstation, CBC, Hockey Night In Canada, HBO's Shameless, and WWE.
Based in Barry's Bay. Veterans of the Ottawa Valley live music circuit, this band sweetens the log cabin atmosphere by playing your favourite rock, country, and pop songs.
Rootfire, 6:40pm - 8:10pm
Rootfire is an ensemble of energetic musicians from the Ottawa Valley area. The band plays a reggae inspired style of campfire music that gets everyone singing.
A solo musician from Alderville First Nation in Ontario, now based in Northumberland County. Cale dazzles with his combination of acoustic guitar, vocals, electronic drum pad, & digital looping.
Irish Millie started playing fiddle at age 6 and recorded her first album at age 13. Now in her last year of high school, Millie performs weekly in her hometown of Peterborough and has toured across Canada, Vermont, and Denmark.
