A friend and I set aside Easter Long Weekend 2012 for a physically demanding 55km hike in Algonquin Park. The name of the backpacking trail is “Western Uplands”. Being an Algonquin Park enthusiast, it has been a dream of mine to do this trail. The weather was perfect for backpacking, and we heard wolves while camping at Rainbow Lake on our first night.
